New York, NY — September 26, 2007 --- “What Not To Wear” talent stylist Allison Berlin and design entrepreneur Dana Goldstein have announced the launch of STYLE SOCIAL, a creative event company that will implement exclusive upscale events for women with active social lives.
“The idea for STYLE SOCIAL originated when we decided to pool our myriad of friends, associates and colleagues through school, business and life,” Berlin explains. “Our plan is to offer exclusive fashion and style events, blend in a charitable component, in unique locations for groups of private individuals.”
“It’s all about access,” Goldstein adds. “We wanted to offer fashion designers, top chefs, stylists and private shopping to non-celebrities and let everyone get in on the fun of being on the INSIDE!”
In honor of their launch, Berlin and Goldstein are holding their own event at Opera Gallery in SOHO, featuring fashions by several designers, jewelry and handbags. A percentage of proceeds from the event will benefit Rosie’s Broadway Kids and Gilda’s Club Worldwide. Partners for this October 4 event include The Wedding Library, Great Performances, Eduardo Patino Photographer, Party Rentals Ltd and Opera Gallery.
“This is just the beginning,” Goldstein remarks. “We are excited to book wedding parties, bridal showers, birthdays, graduations – any celebration where a group of women want to be treated well, shop ‘til they drop and do some social good - - all at the same time!”
